As well as spending many years as an industry professional Sheldon has worked as an Educator for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne University, Melbourne Polytechnic, The Guildhall school of music (UK), WOMAD, The Songroom and Melbourne Performing Arts Academy to name a few, he also created the guitar course for the Artslive website.
He is a popular youtuber and you can sample his style and lessons by visiting his channel 'Sheldon King' or joining his Patreon for free. He is also a composer for film, theatre and dance and his music
Unlike many teachers he is happy to teach on a casual week to week basis rather than 'per term lock ins' etc.
Lesson are $90 per hour or $50 for half hour.
Sheldon is also police checked and has many years experience teaching kids and working with special needs, particularly Autism and ADHD, he has also taught many adults including professional musicians.
Sheldon teaches classical, jazz, folk, fingerstyle, rock and singer songwriter styles and is happy to tailor the lessons to your particular needs.
